Welcome to HYTOPIA COLOR, a multiplayer game where players randomly get sorted into 1 of 4 colors, while keeping the teams balanced out. Pink (creep blocks), Green (grass blocks), Blue (water blocks) & Yellow (sandstone blocks). They will spawn on their designated coloured corners above the ‘arena’. Once spawned, they can jump onto the 20x20 White (snow blocks) arena to start the 1 minute timer. They need to run or walk over the blocks to color as many as possible within the time. When running over them, they color a 3x3 grid underneath them. Blocks will only change color within the timer. Every block coloured counts toward the players score. During a game/round, the progress bar shows the %’s coloured per team/colors. The most coloured team will earn a win, which will be counted towards the players of the team’s color that participated.
The 20x20 arena has a glass wall surrounding it, and above that glass wall, around the edges is a circular pathway with it’s own glass barrier to protect them from falling off.
On desktop devices, players can walk with W A S D and hold Shift for running. They can jump with the spacebar and shouldn’t be able to multi-jump and/or fly. On mobile they get a joystick that automatically runs players in the direction they put the joystick on. And a button to jump. All other touch interaction and/or controls are ‘disabled’.
